--“If you are willing to do more than you are paid to do, eventually you will be paid to do more than you do.”
--“Try not to be a person of success, but rather try to become a person of value.”
--“No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.”
--“Much of the stress that people feel doesn’t come from having too much to do. It comes from not finishing what they’ve started.”
--“There is a difference between being a leader and being a boss. Both are based on authority. A boss demands blind obedience; a leader earns his authority through understanding and trust.”
--“Twenty years from now, you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.”
A recent survey discovered 87% of drivers admit engaging in at least one risky behavior while behind the wheel in the past month. These risky, unsafe behaviors include driving while distracted, impaired, drowsy, speeding, running red lights or not wearing a seat belt.
Minimize your risk - don’t speed, don’t run red lights, buckle your seat belt, leave you phone alone, don’t over indulge and get plenty of rest. Not difficult and your chances of avoiding injury or death increase dramatically. BE SAFE.
On April 3, 2016, Jimmy Gordon, long time Joliet driver, will assume the position of Joliet driver supervisor. Jimmy is taking over for Keith Thomas who resigned last month
Jimmy Gordon, “NEW” Joliet Driver Supervisor
and who has since relocated to Florida. Jimmy has been a driver at the Joliet location for almost 11 years and is looking forward to the additional duties and responsibilities of his new position. Mr. Gordon may be new to the position but his many years with Premier Laundry Technology and the last 5 years with Superior Health Linens has prepared him for the transition.
